I hadn’t upgraded for ages, got the famous footer spam hack (which means I’m currently banned from Google) (thanks, , for reminding me) and ran into both connection and FTP-trouble during the process.

I’ll be doing minor fixes to the current templates in order to get everything (tags, for instance) up and running but actually I’m working on a redesign already, so this just to say: Let me know if something looks or acts strange (the lack of real content is not a bug, it’s me being lazy and busy).

I’ll look into styling the new ‘links’ category as soon as I get the chance.

Since starting to use ecto, I’ve wanted to have the UTW tags integrated into the app, at least just when posting.

Robin Lu made it work by providing some xmlrpc.php hacks: Part 1 — part 2.

Make sure you got the latest UTW, that seemed to work for me anyway. Also, if you didn’t make any changes to your xmlrpc.php file, you might as well grab Robin’s edited version instead of trying to find the bits you need to edit. At least that worked for me, too…
