Summer’s cancelled. I don’t know why we fight over who gets to stay in our little country. I don’t want to be here if it’s gonna rain like this. Someone else can have my seat.

Bøtter set up a night trip to one of my favourite locations, Flyvergrillen. Together with Haurum and Heickendorf we went driving, got lost, got lost again, didn’t shoot any planes, but had a pleasant night in the cold.

(I know, I’m messing up the order of my video posts — but I was so busy shooting FDIH video Tuesday that I didn’t get around to doing something for VBW06. So far I’m trying to shoot something every day and not just post whatever 7 times. That might change. Tuesday coming up somehow, though…)

I’m shooting DV, meaning I’m capturing in real time. For the bits where I kept the camera rolling, it was a pretty strange experience — reliving parts of my day in real time.

The video is too long. My original excuse for an idea was to try fast cutting from substantial amounts of material, but somehow I ended up with 10 minutes anyway. When the clock passes 3 in the AM, you stop caring about losing a couple seconds here and there… I don’t in any way believe that this is particularly interesting, but I challenged my self footage-wise and this is the result. I learned a lot — unfortunately all that knowledge didn’t really make it into this film. Maybe next time…
