Monday: Docu-style ego piece. Living in the city. Way too long.
Tuesday: Shot 2+ hours at a conference at FDIH, didn’t get time to to soemthing exclusively for VBW06.
Wednesday: Went to the airport at night to shoot pictures.
Thursday: Interesting day. Set up a “mainstream media is interviewing someone, let’s film them doing it” situation, but ended up having a discussion about whether I could use the footage or not. More about that in a different post — and I promise to get some video up soon (the reporter turned out to be someone I went to high school with, oh the irony).
Friday: Got drunk with the Flickr-crew and aforementioned reporter. No need to document that.
Saturday: Airplay openening. Long-ish, but I guess that’s ok for that one.
Sunday: Shitty weather report. Short and boring. But short’s good.

So in conclusion: Posting video every day is hard work. Especially if you have a busy week already. But I learned stuff, found a lot of old material I’ll consider posting, thought about a few things, got into interesting talks with people about vlogging. All in all: I had fun.

Summer’s cancelled. I don’t know why we fight over who gets to stay in our little country. I don’t want to be here if it’s gonna rain like this. Someone else can have my seat.

Bøtter set up a night trip to one of my favourite locations, Flyvergrillen. Together with Haurum and Heickendorf we went driving, got lost, got lost again, didn’t shoot any planes, but had a pleasant night in the cold.

(I know, I’m messing up the order of my video posts — but I was so busy shooting FDIH video Tuesday that I didn’t get around to doing something for VBW06. So far I’m trying to shoot something every day and not just post whatever 7 times. That might change. Tuesday coming up somehow, though…)

I’m shooting DV, meaning I’m capturing in real time. For the bits where I kept the camera rolling, it was a pretty strange experience — reliving parts of my day in real time.

The video is too long. My original excuse for an idea was to try fast cutting from substantial amounts of material, but somehow I ended up with 10 minutes anyway. When the clock passes 3 in the AM, you stop caring about losing a couple seconds here and there… I don’t in any way believe that this is particularly interesting, but I challenged my self footage-wise and this is the result. I learned a lot — unfortunately all that knowledge didn’t really make it into this film. Maybe next time…

I’ve been shooting a lot of film today, hopefully I’ll get time to edit and post it — and keep the ball rolling for the duration of the week. Let’s see.
