Ooh, looks like olekjeldhansen.com and many.dk don’t quite agree on the content side of blogging (some funny points in there). A pretty classic discussion I have given some serious thought myself too (everyone has, I guess). Can’t help to notice, though, that whatever the content, nobody will be able to find it in about a week’s time as none of them use any form of decent archiving/permalinks. And in my humble opinion, the information has to be proper laid out if anyone is supposed to benefit from it — which is the point I hope.
UPDATE: many points out to me in a comment, that many.dk has archives. Apologies.

What is it, you can’t find? I have an exellent permalinksystem: My headlines (fx: http://many.dk/show_log.asp?text=688).
A sitesearch is also present: http://many.dk/search.asp
All thanks to voller.dk, who made my own cms :o)
Anyways — i’m not arguing about OKH thoughts. I’m just defending his right to start a debate.
And my english is poor. No. It sucks :o)
Ups, my fault. Thought I looked properly, but now I see it… Apologies.
And if I have to think anything about your discussion, it would have to be, that first of all; everyone is entitled to do whatever they want on their blog — that’s what is making all of this happen. If the blogs are going to develop from pure and simple online diaries, however, people shouldn’t be scared of fiving their content some thought, making it one big exchange of thoughts and knowledge. The personal touch is what carries it all, making it easier for everyone to filter information, but shouldn’t stand in the way for blogging with the goal to produce content someone else could benefit from.
