DrunkenBlog: RSS for Mac OS X Roundtable

Interesting interview, DrunkenBlog: RSS for Mac OS X Roundtable: Most of the hype comes from the press, but I’ve been shocked at the lack of shame some people have about exploiting it. RSS does nothing new, it’s just marginally more convenient than browsing the websites manually. Continue reading

Extending the range of non-Apple APs using AirPort Express

Since the Apple Express Assistant will only automatically detect Apple wireless networks, you have to install the device initially (using an Ethernet cable from your router) as its own network. Once you have done that you can step back in using the Apple Admin Utility to join your current network (you will need to type the name of the network in manually). Continue reading

Blog redesign, episode 9

A few minor improvements: The category ‘Bla bla’ is now called ‘Misc.’ — highly original, I know. My latest del.icio.us bookmarks have taken the place of the sidebar (which got included in the main post area). The thought behind this divide … Continue reading

Comments working again

Just a quick note: The comment issue wasn’t due to the install of the updated MT-Blacklist afterall. After a few more tries (thanks, Jonas I discovered that the single character ‘v’ had ended up on the blacklist, causing quite a lot of string matches to fuck up.
