It’s out. it’s free if you want it to be. There’s no cover provided.
Not to worry: Check out what the fans just made over at hicksdesign. Kinda clever marketing-wise, no?

I’ve enjoyed sets. Wall decoration projects documented almost in real time on Flickr.
Now it turns really social:
We have got a new wall in NordVest where there will be (almost) no restrictions. This wall is to be made only by the stuff YOU (the flickr user) sends to us on the EXACT day that we paint. A picture of the wall will be posted when we have got a date for the job. []
Look out for the date and send him your stuff.
FFS…
I’m at the office browsing to René‘s iTunes library through Simplify Media and stumbles upon a Millencolin album that I’m sure I’ve heard before. Oh, of course. It reminds me of a cassette tape I borrowed from a classmate once in high school. The owner of the tape (who she got it from) was … Emil Kozak. Which is the guy that did our logo for Hoist.
And so it goes.
There are several things to do in a (small, argh) world: Two of them are going nostalgic with music from the eighties and checking out Emil’s porfolio. He does some really good stuff.
In case you missed alt_cph this weekend (unfortunately I did), here’s some pictures from the AUX exhibition sporting the new logo and a new tagline. The website will reflect this soon…
Kristjansson is back. Rock-n-fucking-roll.
I’m about to switch server. So if anything looks funny within the next 48 hours or so, it’s me taking a long time to fix something that shouldn’t take long.
Everything seem to ahve went well. Download files and DB dump, upload files and DB dump — easy-peasy. If everything seem to be out of order, please let me know.
Videoblogging maestro (and Hoist deckhand) Andreas Haugstrup updates his site, videoblogging.info:
Lumiere video arises from the tradition of the French Lumiere brothers. Credited with some of the first footage captured, in 1895, the Lumieres are also recognized for holding the first public film screening, showing ten shorts that lasted only twenty minutes total. At the time, Louis Lumiere stated, “The cinema is an invention without a future,†believing that everyday photography and video was ultimately nonsensical. Yet, we stand firm that Lumiere principles are essential to our existence as artists, media producers, visual creatures, and world citizens.
I’ve been following his Lumiere videos (with the nice caption “This is a Lumiere video. The video contains no audio. Feel free to leave your own music running”) since the beginning. Good stuff, have a look.
Bullshit.
Good friend Lars Pind was kind enough to inform me that this thing has a beautiful name: Butt dialing. I like it.
