PodCommuter hubcaps
After reading Russell Beattie’s post on listening to podcasts while he commutes and seeing the iPod click-wheel illustration I thought of something: Wouldn’t click-wheel hubcaps be a nice way to tell your fellow commuters you’re totally clued in? A decent photo of such a wheel on one of those hubcaps that stay stationary while you drive and you’re good to go…

Help victims…everywhere
So, the tsunami came, a lot of people died and now people all over the world are helping the best they can.… What is quite a problem however, is that while a true disaster, the tsunami isn’t nowhere near our biggest global problem when it comes to people in need.
You know it’s new year’s eve…
…when the local pole dancers stop taking money from carpenters but instead hand it back in order to get their windows covered with plywood. Happy new year everybody.
[DK] Værktøjet i orden?
Talking with your customers
Minor changes in the Basecamp pricing structure (which is just fine and not the point), comments from the customers. While old news in the wonderful community of the interweb, that ‘markets are discussions’-thing sure is something, huh?

Kitchen AXers beware
A few seconds after I turned on the microwave, the music stopped playing and my iTunes came to a stop (which I’ve experienced before when the AXes don’t behave as planned). The microwave oven and the AX is both just put on top of the fridge — radiation fuckup?
Back to my roots with my pocket full of cash
After 9/11 that certainly isn’t easy, but I’ll let you in on my secret as I actually stole the idea from some of the big (Danish) players in the business, Jubii and B.T.… Without ruining the overall graphic design of your page, a simple logo in a colour you don’t control, gently takes over your background. On Sony, Kottke, DRM and the bulldog lawyer approach to doing business
Sony, Apple etc: Please remember that you’re in a damn fortunate situation when you have people all around the world talking about you — good or bad — longing for your products, trying to guess your next move, praising a lot of the stuff you do, keeping your brand alive. We all discuss, engage in conversation — how come you think you can act completely different, communicating through gunslinger lawyers, exposing your fear of not controlling a situation that’s really not that bad, but that of course might show room for improvement? Nordic walking
Update: Mediamac picks it up (late as always). So does netsummary. Btw: If you look closely, you’ll notice some weird opacity screw-up in the poor lady’s face. Lesson to be learned: If people link up your graphic and you’ve already … Continue reading

Continue reading

Powerbook trouble
Normally I would log in here — if I turn ‘log in after sleep’ off, I can come back to a functioning OS fram sleep mode.… I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve been playing with extra profiles, external harddrives, typeit4me and other little extensions, updated OS X itself etc. — so it might be one of these things, a combination hereof — or none of the above…I don’t know.
Podcast apologies
To the wasted crack-whore gesturing to make me take off my headphones while I was waiting in the street for Indian take-out, smiling a toothless smile, asking if I was listening to some good music: I’ve been having quite some trouble recently trying to explain people I know — whom to my knowledge haven’t even done unthinkable things to themselves to finance crack — the wonders of podcasting. Get yourself stuck
Everything is packed, especially my hard disk. I have downloaded a whole bunch of podcasts I have not been able to listen to (this is a big issue with podcasts) and I’m kinda looking forward to be stuck at the airport or on the airplane in order to be finally able to listen to all this stuff.
