TV nostalgia: Colt Sieverts

A German (almost) history lesson for the weekend: Ein Colt für alle ¤lle. When I was a kid, this guy and his two friends were on German national tv a lot. Big trucks (with a secret compartment for hiding the … Continue reading

Temporary feed redirect

It’s been a while since I’ve done a ‘it won’t be long before something amazing happens on this blog’, so to not disappoint anyone, I’ve temporarily redirected requests for my rss-feed to my FeedBurner-feed which is spliced with my del.ico.us-bookmarks. I’ve mentioned it before and hoped that I got round to do some splicing of my own to get camblog/sideblog feeds in there as well, but for now I’ll settle with just taking a look at the statistics of the blog feed. Talking Heads-cast

Andreas informs us that TV2 will be airing reallife.log, a two-minutes-per-head-a-day type show with personal stories soon. I think he’s absolutely right, that videologs on tv is a strange concept, that the personal publishing bit is interesting and that most … Continue reading

Continue reading

Get lost, pinball wizard

To the poor excuse of a man that insists on playing the pinball machine at the local watering hole incredibly loud with that stupid ‘all men are just little boys’ look on his face every single time I set foot in the place: Get a life.… When I’m in the process of waking up, injecting coffee into my body, I don’t need stupid noise from stupid trouble makers.

PodCommuter hubcaps

After reading Russell Beattie’s post on listening to podcasts while he commutes and seeing the iPod click-wheel illustration I thought of something: Wouldn’t click-wheel hubcaps be a nice way to tell your fellow commuters you’re totally clued in? A decent photo of such a wheel on one of those hubcaps that stay stationary while you drive and you’re good to go…

Help victims…everywhere

So, the tsunami came, a lot of people died and now people all over the world are helping the best they can.… What is quite a problem however, is that while a true disaster, the tsunami isn’t nowhere near our biggest global problem when it comes to people in need.

Talking with your customers

Minor changes in the Basecamp pricing structure (which is just fine and not the point), comments from the customers. While old news in the wonderful community of the interweb, that ‘markets are discussions’-thing sure is something, huh?

Blog redesign, episode 10

Haven’t had time to tinker with the new blog design for some time now, but upon yesterday’s discovery of Favatars, it was a pleasant surprise to fin a Favicon MT-plugin over at Gemal’s today.… On a related note, I recently put in a captcha-test on the comment pages; I’ve been hit hard by comment spammers lately — they made a big mess and my host started sending worried emails.

Back to my roots with my pocket full of cash

After 9/11 that certainly isn’t easy, but I’ll let you in on my secret as I actually stole the idea from some of the big (Danish) players in the business, Jubii and B.T.… Without ruining the overall graphic design of your page, a simple logo in a colour you don’t control, gently takes over your background. I have downloaded a whole bunch of podcasts I have not been able to listen to (this is a big issue with podcasts) and I’m kinda looking forward to be stuck at the airport or on the airplane in order to be finally able to listen to all this stuff.
